Software Used for the PeopleSoft Financial Management Solutions (FMS)

Listed software components were provided by the vendor for test purposes. Alternative client, browser, web server, operating system, and database products may be possible.

Category Component Purpose
Application  Financial and Supply Chain Management Solutions (FMS, SCM) These solutions represent the core accounting product. It includes General Ledger, Purchasing, Payables, Receivables, Billing, Projects, and Customer Contracts.
  SQR Delivered embedded reporting software
  Crystal Reports Delivered embedded reporting software
Server BEA WebLogic Server, v6.1 The BEA WebLogic server product is a Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application server product. It is used to deploy business logic and database interfaces for web-enabled applications.
  BEA web server This web server comes built into Weblogic v6.1. 
Database Microsoft SQL Server v7.0 Relational database used for storing, managing, and retrieving application data.
Desktop Internet Explorer v5.5 Internet Explorer (IE) is an end-user client (browser). IE processes and displays web pages.
  Microsoft Excel Excel is a spreadsheet product. Excel was used to format some ad hoc query and reporting output to provide to JFMIP.
  Adobe Acrobat The Acrobat product is used to view PDF-formatted items.
