Software Used for the DSG IFMIS Test

Listed software components were provided by the vendor for test purposes. Alternative client, browser, web server, operating system, and database products may be possible.
Category Component Purpose
Application  Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS) IFMIS is an integrated financial management system product. It includes accounts receivable, cost posting, disbursements, funding, and general ledger modules.
  IFMIS Executive Reporting Module (ERM) ERM is an optional product. It provides report publishing, executive information and ad hoc query services.
  IFMIS Encyclopedia IFMIS Encyclopedia is an optional web-based IFMIS application reference tool. It provides technically oriented documentation such as a data dictionary, database schemas, and system table definitions.
Server BEA WebLogic Server v7.0 The BEA WebLogic server product is a Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application server product. It is used to deploy business logic and database interfaces for web-enabled applications.
  ERM Server ERM Server is a business intelligence query (BIQ) product. It accommodates ad hoc query and reporting analysis of application data by end-users. ERM is powered by Brio technology.
  Micro Focus App Server v4.1 Micro Focus App Server is an application server product. It enables COBOL coded programs to run in a UNIX environment.
  Sun’s Java Runtime environment v1.2.2 This product enables Java execution within the Sun environment.
  Sun’s Java Runtime Environment v1.3.1 This product enables Java execution within the Sun environment.
  Macromedia Jrun v2.3.3 This product enables Java execution.
  Apache 1.3.22 Apache is a web server product. It receives browser requests (HTTP) and returns dynamic or static web page content (HTML).
Database Oracle v8.1.7 Relational database used for storing, managing, and retrieving application data.
Desktop Microsoft Internet Explorer v5.5 Internet Explorer (IE) is an end-user client (browser). IE processes and displays web pages.
  Microsoft Excel Excel is a spreadsheet product. Excel was used to demonstrate some ad hoc query and reporting functionality.
  Microsoft Word Word is document editor. Word was used for some output viewing and customization functionality.
  SQL+ This product is used to create, edit, and submit database queries.
  Adobe Acrobat The Acrobat product is used to view PDF-formatted items.
