Core Financial System Qualification Test Policy
March
2007 |
The Financial Systems Integration Office (FSIO) has updated
the policy directing how core financial system products are
tested to determine that they meet federal financial management
system requirements. Updates were needed to align the previous
2002 test policy document with actual test practices, to
strengthen policy to use resources more effectively and efficiently,
and to eliminate the arbitrary three year test cycle to require
testing only when there is a business need. The foreword
of the document itemizes the key policy changes.
